We collect the following information when you use Cheetah Scanner:

  • Account data: email address and authentication credentials (managed via Supabase Auth).
  • Catalog files: distributor catalogs you upload for processing.
  • Usage data: job history, token transactions, and feature usage patterns.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

  • Process your catalog files and generate product matches.
  • Calculate profitability estimates for matched products.
  • Manage your account, token balance, and payment history.
  • Improve the Service and troubleshoot issues.

3. Data Processing

Catalog data is processed using third-party services to extract product information. Extracted products are matched to Amazon listings using our Amazon data integration. These third-party services receive only the data necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy policies.

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled, ensuring you can only access your own data. Uploaded files are stored in Supabase Storage with per-user access controls. All connections use TLS encryption.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage.
  • Data processing partners: catalog data extraction and product identification.
  • Amazon data integration: Amazon product data and pricing.
  • Stripe: payment processing.

6. Data Retention

Your account data and job history are retained for as long as your account is active. Uploaded catalog files may be automatically deleted after processing is complete. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and export your data at any time.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and all associated data through profile settings.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing (this may affect Service functionality).

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only for authentication session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
